Screen rail is a sturdy, durable way to screen in a portion of your deck or even create a comfortable, bug-free area under your deck to extend the outdoor living space. Our screen rail is made of heavy-duty fiberglass that will stand up to wind, weather, and exposure to the sun’s UV rays.
At UglyDeck we offer integrated railing systems for your deck or porch that match the color of the screen railing. The aluminum deck railing provides the perfect safety and durability factor needed for screened areas on a deck.
To complete a privacy screen, simply frame the area and install the fiberglass screens. The outside of the screened area can be surrounded by an integrated railing system that can include designs that add to the privacy of the space.
Our screened railings are installed inside the existing railings on the porch. This is aesthetically the best option, highlighting the railing system and design along the porch area while offering the protection of the screen.
Privacy screens are not designed to add the fall protection offered by railing systems. Privacy screens can be added in addition to integrated railing systems to offer safety and to ensure the enclosed deck meets building code requirements.
